I then attended Seattle Pacific University and received my Masters in Science in Physical Education specializing in Sports Administration. In 2004 I received my administrative credentials from Central Washington University.

- What do you want parents and students to know about you as a leader? I work really hard to be firm, fair and consistent. I also want people to know that I am a problem solver and look for opportunities to listen and find solutions.
- Why did you want to be the principal at Mount Rainier? I believe I bring a wealth of experience and knowledge working in a variety of schools. I have experience working with the IB program and the AVID program. Every school I have been in has had small learning communities and I have been an integral part in building those communities. Mount Rainier has a diverse population which I embrace. I believe that every student can learn and I want to work with a highly skilled staff to help students be successful citizens in our ever-changing society. I want to work with students to help them realize their potential and find their passion.
