A first for our school!
Our goal this year is to raise $25,000 with participation from 100% of our generous families.

  • HOW ARE THE NO-BAKE DONATIONS USED?
    Your generous support of the NO-BAKE DONATION funds enrich our kids' education in ways that are not supported by basic funding from the state and district. Here are a few of the programs that your NO-BAKE donation supports: $200 Enrichment Grants to 17 MRHS departments, Staff Appreciation events, volunteer coordination, the Senior Store, Senior Graduation Event, Newsletter… and of course the ongoing "Wish List"… digital cameras, calculators, scanners, camcorders and a lot more enriched our school last year.

    Here are a few of the programs that your NO-BAKE donation supports:
    • Yearly Teacher/Department Enrichment Grants
    • Wish List — Granted depending on funds available
    • Support for numerous Teams and Clubs (Math Team, Soccer, Swimming, Track, Tennis, Golf, Wind Ensemble… and many more!)
    • Staff Appreciation
    • Snacks for MSP testing
    • Senior Graduation Nite
    • Newsletters & website
    • Volunteer coordinator


  • WHY A NO-BAKE-BAKE SALE FUND DRIVE?
    Dedicated parents at our school have joined together to raise money to support worthwhile programs at Mount Rainier. They wanted a fundraiser that is consistent with the values at our school and know that many important parts of educating our kids are simply not supported by our basic state and district funding. So these parents (via Booster Club) have created this No-Bake-Bake-Sale, a once-a-year bake sale where no baked good are sold.

    This year at the Mountain we won't bake… we'll donate. It's easy!! This is a good old-fashioned fund drive. Just get out your checkbook, write a check to Mount Rainier High School Booster Club and mail it off!! We won't ask our kids to hit the streets to raise funds. We won't have a bake sale. This is the major fundraiser Booster Club will have this year — and it's vital to ensuring continued support of students and staff at Pacific.

    This No-Bake is a call to parents, alumni, friends and community supporters to give what they can to support the outstanding efforts of the staff, volunteers and students who make Mount Rainier a terrific school.

  • WHAT IS OUR $ GOAL THIS YEAR?
    Our goal is $25,000 this year. We hope to receive a donation from each of our 1500+ families.

  • HOW MUCH SHOULD OUR FAMILY DONATE TO THE NO-BAKE?
    We welcome your generous donation of any amount… whether your family can give $5 or $1000.

  • WHERE DO WE SEND OUR NO-BAKE DONATION?
    Mail to Mt. Rainier High School Booster Club No-Bake at 22450 - 19th Avenue South, Des Moines, WA 98198 or deliver to the office at Pacific Middle School.

  • WHAT IS THE DEADLINE FOR NO-BAKE DONATIONS?
    Our NO-BAKE ends on December 31st but donations to Booster Club are gladly accepted throughout the year.

  • DO I HAVE TO BE A BOOSTER CLUB MEMBER TO DONATE?
    No.

  • CAN WE USE OUR CREDIT CARD TO DONATE TO THE NO-BAKE?
    Unfortunately no… we're not set up to process credit cards this year.

  • IS MY DONATION TO THE NO-BAKE TAX 100% DEDUCTIBLE?
    Absolutely. Mount Rainier High School Booster Club is a §501(c)(3) nonprofit entity (TAX ID 91-1630686).

  • CAN MY EMPLOYER MATCH MY NO-BAKE CHARITABLE DONATION?
    Your employer's matching donation doubles your gift to MRHS Booster Club.
